Day One

Breakfast
While we have breakfast, I lay out the plan for the day and take care of initial ground school.
Than we proceed out to the airport and do preflight and walk around in the shade of the hanger along with reviewing weight, balance and fuel loading and studying aircraft systems.
Normal flight operations syllabus followed by taxi, take-offs, in flight aircraft familiarization, stall series, slow flight.
Break for lunch at one of our local restaurants on our lakes.
Dinner on their own.

Day 2

Breakfast
Discuss plans for the day of instruction, aircraft water characteristics with emphasis on point of buoyancy.
Introduction to water operations.
Step Taxi, Step Taxi Turns to learn aircraft attitude.
Normal Take offs and landings
Porpoising

Day 3

Breakfast
Discussion of glassy water landings
Emergency reviews
Discussing sailing, beaching, ramping, docking.
Review basic take offs and previous days work.
Demonstrate emergency situations
Practice glassy water landings

Day 4

Breakfast
Discuss cross wind and high density altitude
operations in aborted takeoffs
Reviewing the past 3 days instruction
Energy management study on the water
Simulating High Gross weight operations
Rejected take offs
Bounced landing recovery and rough water take offs and landings
Cross wind landing and take off techniques
